Hybrid load-balancing algorithm for distributed fog computing in internet of things environment

Fog computing is a novel idea created by Cisco that provides the same capabilities as cloud but close to objects improve performance, such minimizing latency and reaction time. Packet failure can happen on single fog server across large number of messages from internet things (IoT) sensors due several variables, including inadequate bandwidth queue capacity. In this paper, fog-to-server architecture based IoT proposed solve problem packet loss in servers using hybrid load balancing distributed environment. The methodology with least connection weighted round robin algorithms combined together nodes take into consideration time distribute requests active servers. results show system improved network evaluation parameters total response 131.48 ms, rate 15.670%, average channel idle 99.55%, utilization 77.44%, file transfer protocol (FTP) speed (256 KB 15 MB files) 260.77 KB/sec, MB) 19.27 sec.
